Set around a peaceful courtyard and an organic garden, each of our twelve villas is awash in gentle natural light, muted hues of white and terracotta, and furnished with locally sourced timber from Balinese craftsmen. Tucked behind the walls of your private villa, you’ll find a private pool, an open-air living space, a kitchenette, and a lush secluded garden.

A kitchenette, complete with wine fridge, makes either staff-prepared or self-cooked in-villa meals simple.
Every villa also includes the perfect compliment to any warm Ubud day or breathtaking Ubud night: a private pool.

One of the defining aspects of Balinese life is family and community, where joy is found in experiences shared.
The Double Bedroom Villas are two bedroom spaces designed to be shared by up to four people, creating a stay that’s both communal but intimate.
The Double Bedroom Villas feature all of the same amenities and features as our Single Bedroom Villas, with the luxury of more space. More space to enjoy company. More space to unwind, think, or reflect. More space to swim, eat well, and live.
To ensure the perfect balance of togetherness and privacy, the Double Bedroom Villa bedrooms are situated on two levels, with one bedroom upstairs and another bedroom downstairs, just off of the garden.

The Long-Tailed Macaques
CAUTIONARY INFORMATION
Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, well known as Ubud Monkey Forest, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed macaques (Macaca Fascicularis). Generally, these monkeys will not approach humans who they believe are not offering food, but they invariably approach human visitors in groups and grab any bags containing food that the humans have.
The park staff feeds the monkeys sweet potatoes three times a day, providing them with their main source of food in the park. They feed on bananas, papaya leaves, corn, cucumber, coconut, and other local fruit. For the sake of the monkeys' health, visitors in the park are prohibited from feeding them snacks such as peanuts, cookies, biscuits, and bread.
Although they generally ignore humans who they believe do not have food, they sometimes mistake a human's actions as an offer of food or an attempt to hide food. If a human does not provide the food the monkeys demand or does not provide it quickly enough, the monkeys occasionally will bite the human. Park personnel carry slingshots with which to intimidate aggressive monkeys and intervene quickly in confrontations between monkeys and humans.
As Bisma Eight Villas is located very near to Ubud Monkey Forest, at times we will see these monkeys visit the property and come inside the villa unit. Our guests’ role is highly encouraged not to give food to these monkeys so that it does not become a habit and invite more of them to come to the property and expect to be fed.
Please dial “0” to contact our staff immediately if you see these long-tailed macaques lingering in the villa so our team can return them back to their original habitat.
